Albert Malkin

Albert Malkin is the director of the Living Organisms Learning Lab. Albert is an Assistant Professor at Western University in the Faculty of Education and Coordinator of the EdD in the Field of Applied Behaviour Analysis program. He attained his PhD from Southern Illinois University in the School of Psychological and Behavioural Sciences.

Ashley Rodrigues
LAB MANAGER, RESEARCH ASSISTANT, MASTER’S THESIS STUDENT
MA School and Applied Child Psychology
Ashley is completing her MA in School and Applied Child Psychology and supports the Living Organisms Learning Lab as a Research Assistant and Lab Manager. Her current research explores the intersection of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and autism spectrum disorder, perspective-taking, and dating violence. She holds a BASc in Psychology from the University of Guelph-Humber.

Charlotte Kerr

PhD School and Applied Child Psychology
Charlotte is completing her MA in the LOL lab, leading a comparative study with counselling psychology master’s students at Western University to examine shifts in their perceptions of Generative AI’s role in practice and research contexts, comparing perspectives from 2023 and 2025. She holds a BA in Psychology from York University. She is an Ontario Graduate Scholar.

Sophia Marchetti
MA Counselling Psychology (2024-2026)
Sophia completed her MA in Counselling Psychology in the LOL Lab in 2026, exploring dating violence as it pertains to individuals affiliated with Greek Life, supported by the CGS-M via SSHRC. She was a former Lab Manager and continues on at the LOL lab as a Research Assistant.
She is now a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the CRPO.

Sherry Han

Sherry completed her MA in Counselling Psychology the LOL lab in 2026, exploring Social Media use through EMA supported by the Ontario Graduate Scholarship. She also supported the lab as a Research Assistant.
She is now a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the CRPO.
